Santu Jirel

Shree Pragya Basic School , Melamchi Municipality-7, Bharatithok

I am from the Dolakha District, located in the country's northeastern part. My place Jiri is most loved by natives and tourists for visiting destinations. Jiri is also famously called as Switzerland of Nepal. I was there for a short period, and then we moved to Kathmandu to study. As a kid, I was a shy and quiet person. I used to seek help for a longer time to come in front. In seeking support, I landed with an organizing campaign at my school on “Break the Silence”, which talked about mensuration. That was the first time I held a mic and expressed it in front of the mass. I believe defeats are the stepping stones that lead us to success. That was a turning point in my life when someone could motivate me to express my thoughts. Any guide or teacher being a supporter would have significantly impacted students.

I wanted to become a Saathi teacher to create an impact on students' life. Being a constant guide and support to students would help any kids through it.  My recognisable strength is that I am a cooperative person, and I want to transform that skills in my students. In these two years of journey, I will be contributing the skills and moral values that I carry with me.
