Daya Laxmi Duwal,

Shree Setidevi Basic School , Tripurasundari RM-01, Chokati SIndhupalchowk

I was born at Chochhen- Bhaktapur. I am a well-versed, enthusiastic and diligent person. Bhaktapur is the city of Jatras, festivals, the wonderland of god and goddess, delicious food, Curd (Ju: Ju dhau), fifty-five windows palace, golden gate, and five-storied temple, which are famous all around the world.
I was an obedient and punctual student during my school and college life. One Youth Organization also awarded me The Best Volunteer of The Year in 2018 for my outstanding dedication, contribution, and determination in helping the children of rural Nepal. I worked at Lamjung through International Citizen Service (ICS) with London Volunteer(UKs), where I worked on education infrastructure for school students in the rural area.
Recently, I joined Saathi Teachers Programme 2022 so that I could explore my talents and educate rural areas students because I have always wanted to do something for children and the community. I want to use my learning and experience to teach and learn when I have missed out on it.
I would love to devote myself to this two-year journey and give my best during this Saathi journey to my students and community. I would love to thank the team of the Saathi Teachers Programme for these precious opportunities. I am excited about upcoming challenges and hope this challenge accepts me and builds me into a strong human being in the coming days.
